Multiple Melanoma Cancer is a cancer of the plasma cell. The growth of a plasma cell can interfere with the normal blood-forming functions of bone marrow. Abnormal plasma cells do not protect the body from infections. Multiple myeloma cannot be prevented. Multiple Melanoma occurs when the plasma cells infiltrate the bone marrow in the body, soon spreading into all the bone marrow. While Multiple Melanoma Cancer is incurable, it happens to be a treatable disease. Multiple Melanoma is most common in people around the age of 66 years old.

Symptoms of multiple myeloma are not noticed until it has reached an advanced stage. Common symptoms include: bone pain, blood problems, nervous system problems, kidney symptoms, high blood calcium and infections.
