Early Detection of Cancer
Early Detection of cancer sometimes makes it easier to treat the cancer. There are many different types of cancer, but most cancers begin with abnormal cells growing out of control, forming a lump that's called a tumor. The tumor can continue to grow until the cancer begins to spread to other parts of the body. If the tumor is found when it is still very small, curing the cancer can be easy. However, the longer the tumor goes unnoticed, the greater the chance that the cancer has spread. This makes treatment more difficult.
Almost the best thing you can do for early detection of cancer is to be in tune with your body. Recognizing symptoms, getting regular check-ups, and performing self-exams are just a few ways you can do this. Just a few of the cancers that can be found very early are smoking related cancers, skin, testicular, breast, cervical, prostate and colorectal cancer.
The bottom line is that early detection of cancer is critical. So don’t put off going to the doctor. Do it now, it could save your life.
